Establishment of New Integrated Networks for Fire Alarm and Fire Fighting at Jeddah Islamic Port

Jeddah Islamic Port has an excellent location in the middle of the international shipping route between east and west. The port lies on the Red Sea coast at latitude 28° 21. It is the largest port between the ports of the kingdom, where handles more than 65% of the volume of goods through the Saudi ports.

 

JIP is a congestion free harbor occupies 11.2 square kilo meters, with 62 deep water quays having an overall length of 12.3 kilometers with a draft reaching 18 meters. This can accommodate the latest generation of large container vessels (with a capacity of 14000 TEUs).

 

Project Goal and Scope:

 

  • Site surveying and preparing as built drawings for fire protection and alarm systems for existing

 

  • Prepare Front End Engineering package FEED which include fire hazard analysis, building code analysis, design basis, Identification of Fire Protection, Fire Detection, Alarm and design parameters, generic material, equipment specifications and all documents & drawings as required by HCIS directives (SAF-01).
